The Grand Sunset Hotel Phuket offers a truly enjoyable stay for senior travelers like myself. The hotel's decoration is elegant and tasteful, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The general areas are well-maintained, making it easy for seniors to move around and navigate. The accessibility for senior people is excellent, with elevators available and staff members always ready to assist. I felt safe and at ease throughout my stay.
If I were to suggest one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be to have more seating areas with comfortable chairs in the common spaces. This would provide a cozy spot for relaxation and socializing.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Not in city center so if you want to leave in the evening you need to taxi to go to city cente.

The location is very good. The hotel is still brand new. Parking is free, internet is free. Swimming pool on the roof. Room was big and comfortable. Enjoy.
The hotel will need to be renovated because everything was finished up too quickly. Tales were moving on the floor of my room and also in the swimming pool. Took a few drinks from the mini bar on my first day, but they were never replaced. My package included a 800thb Spa ticket, but the hotel said the spa was closed and therefore refused to compromise. The air conditioning is quite loud and was working well in the bedroom only. There are speakers in the hallway where they start to play music very early in the morning. 15 minutes walkdistance from the center of karon, 200 thb to Kata with tuk tuk, 400 thb to Patong with tuk tuk. The large guy at the reception is not really friendly.

The room is reasonably large and bright, with a couch and a living room. The location is reasonably priced and in a fantastic area, just a short walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and markets. The Baray Spa, a popular tourist spot, is relatively near the hotel, which I loved.

Grand Sunset is perfectly siuated in Karon beach. It is about 100 metres away from the main beachfront road down a dead end road with no passing traffic, so it is very quiet. The rooms are immaculate and modern. The rooftop pool is awesome, except they may want to get some umbrellas for shade. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Grand Sunset to anyone.
The metal roof of the neighbouring hotel spoils the view from the rooftop pool.

The breakfast was good, the staff was professional, the grounds were clean. The highlight was the amazing food. The hotel had a peaceful location a short walk to Karon Night Market. There was a brilliant restaurant, a market and little stores next door. The bus stop was 15 minutes’ walk away. Truly enjoyed the stay, it was really enjoyable for the amazing service we received during our stay.
Didn't like the area, it was uncomfortable.

Awesome! We came in the low season and had the great time! Really friendly staff. They even recommended cheaper prices for activities than their prices. They give 10% discount at a nearby restaurant and spa. The room was excellent, the pool was amazing. When we left to kho phi phi we forgot our hats at the lobby. The staff gave us many options of how to get it back, and in the end we got it back with no charge whatsoever. We warmly recommend this hotel!
